Frugal Toddler Gifts

This gift for a sweet little girl from church who was turning 3 includes:
*A pair of pretty pink bead socks ($1 cost of socks/beads)
*A bottle of bubbles (30 cents or less at Walgreens)
*1 bar of Johnson's Buddies Soap (free from couponing)
*Bright little tote bag (10 cents at a yard sale; of course I washed it out with soap and water first!)
Total cost of gift: $1.40

Since many of my friends have little ones and we often get together for birthdays, it's always nice to have some things on hand for toddler gifts. Here are some of my favorites:

*Crayons

*Bubbles

*Bath markers/toys

*Homemade playdough in a pretty jar

*Bead Socks for little girls (they love them and they are super-easy to make and only cost about $1 to make!)

*Johnson's Buddies Soaps (since we have so many on hand we've gotten free from coupons)

*Sandbox toys

*Art supplies for toddlers

*Homemade hair ribbons/puffs for little girls

*Snacks toddlers love (Fill an inexpensive plastic jar with colorful goldfish crackers, etc....)

*Skill building toys (beads and shoelaces for stringing, a turkey baster and inexpensive dog dish for using to siphon water and play, a plastic tub full of beans and scoops for play.....)

Such great ideas! My 4 year old would like everything, but especially the tote bag. She loves having cute bags to carry her stuff in!
