My Hummus

Here it is folks! Thanks for the recipe, blogreader Tracey! Good stuff! Now, if only I had time to do homemade pita bread!
1 Tbsp. Cumin
1 can chickpeas, drained
1/2 C. Tahini
1/4 C. sesame oil (from top of tahini) or olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced (more if you like garlic!)
Juice of 1 lemonabout
1/2 C. water
Blend in blender!

Spice-y Hummus

4 Cups Canned Garbanzo Beans (2 cans about)
1/3 Cup juice from canned beans
1/3 cup Olive Oil (EV is vest)
1/4 Cup Lemon Juice (fresh or bottled)
1/2 Cup Tahini (Sesame Butter)
2 Tbsp Tamari/Soy Sauce (I use organic Liquid Aminos)
3 Tsp fresh chopped garlic
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
1/4 - 1/2 Tsp Cayenne pepper
1/4 Cup parsley (dried or fresh)

I mix ingredients in blender, then add the tahini last, and blend that... it blends best. :)
