The last time we had an uninteruppted dinner with just the two of us was probably in May, before our babysitting co-op ceased for the summer. Due to a committment my hubby had on Monday night, we weren't able to eat supper until nearly 8 p.m. after the kids were tucked away in bed. We'd almost forgotten what it was like to have quiet adult conversation over a meal! No demands for more juice or milk, no spills, and reminders to stay on the chair or quit throwing food.
Maybe we'll have to try this more often.....

We do this a lot! It is almost like a date night, and it is free!
We do this, too! It's an easy way to "go" on a date without arranging for a baby-sitter. Glad you had a great time!
