Birthday Favor---De-Lurk!!!

Every year I request Fruit Pizza for my birthday dessert from my mom. It's a once-a-year treat and is so yummy!

Today is my 27th birthday! I'm going to be a copy-cat and request as other bloggers have done on their birthdays, that my silent readers de-lurk! If you read my blog, but have never commented, or rarely do so, please leave me a comment and introduce yourself!

And for those of you who do comment often, let me know:

Why do you read my blog?

and

What are your favorite kinds of posts that I write here?

Wow...I am the first one. I feel extremely honored! I have just today subscribed to your blog so I am technically not a "lurker" but I think my favorite thing about your blog is going to be the way you really express your opinion in an educated way, with facts and lots of meat behind it. I love that! Plus, you are a really great mom and I want to be a really great mom someday.

Happy birthday! I occasionally comment, but just as in real life, I don't always feel I have much to say. :) I love your heart for God and your family. May He bless you today and always!

Hi! I've followed your blog for awhile through the link from rachelontherange.
I like it when you write about food, because it makes me want to cook!
Happy 27th birthday!
Out of curiosity, have you ever done a blog on how you and your husband met/your story?
I know it would make for a great read!
Thanks!

Happy birthday Lindsey! I hope it's a great one for you!

I, naturally, love your "Kid Funnies" posts, because I love the things kids come up with to say! They really make me chuckle.

P.S. For your poll on the side, it was a real toss-up for me between cleaning bathrooms and grocery shopping. But I figured since no one had voted for grocery shopping yet, I'd be the first! It really is at the top of my list for things I don't like to do!

Hi, my name is Lieuvena and I'm a lurker! I really enjoy your blog and have been reading it for quite some time now. I love your posts related to Biblical Womanhood - homemaking, mothering, being a wife, etc. I continue to read because of your love for the Lord and your family. You may be several years younger than me, but I have learned a lot from your posts in this area. Happy birthday!

I'm beth and I read your blog b/c your kids are similar to my kids in age, ie. 3 four and under (but 3 three and under for a while there!)

My fave posts of yours are your posts about getting organized and being creative with what you have. As well as frugal ways to live.

But I also like your posts about living as a Christian mom and wrestling with "life". I'm going through a rough time now and have been for about 1 year and it's encouraging and inspiring to me hearing other mommas share about their personal walks with God. And remind me of his character and faithfulness.

Happy Birthday. You seem much wiser than your age in numbers. :)
Take Care!

Hey Lindsey, I read your blog because I know you and I find your posts interesting. :)

I'm Alison and I've been a reader/lurker for quite some time. I think I found your blog via Frugal Fridays.
I read your blog because I enjoy your honesty. We all struggle and I appreciate that you address your life's hardships with honesty.
It's refreshing.

Also, your kids are adorable.

Happy Birthday!

(You make me feel old! I'm 32 and the mom of an only and here you are five years younger with a busy houseful)

Happy Birthday again! I read your blog because I like hearing about your life as a mom and because you are real about how hard it is. (and also what a joy it is too)

And like Kristin, I really crack up over you kid funnies and have always wondered how you remember them all. My kids say funny things all the time but I often forget what they are if I wait too long to write them down or blog about them.

I also learn lots of tips from you and am often encouraged and inspired by your posts.

And last but not least, I love that you aren't afraid to state your beliefs and opinions on your blog and you stand behind what you say -- awesome! :)

Uh oh, I'm a lurker- this might just be my first comment. Happy birthday! I love reading your blog, even though I can't read it as often as I'd like to. I love updates on your family and kid funnies, of course. It keeps me in touch.
I love you!

I'm a "lurker" brought to your blog from a money saving blog. I've enjoyed your honesty in your posts--and your children are precious!

Enjoy your day--and that yummy fruit pizza!

I don't comment often, but I read every entry. I love how REAL you are. You aren't afraid to lay out your opinions, heart attitudes, thoughts, beliefs, and whathaveyou, good or bad, and I appreciate your transparency and honesty. We have some things in common, so I enjoy reading your blog for that reason too.

I enjoy all the things you frequently post about, but I admit I skim the deal-ones (and I'm probably the only one!) because we don't have some of those stores here and I don't shop for those types of things. I do like your frugal posts and ideas otherwise though!

Hello my name is Kim and I'm a lurker. I've been reading your blog for quite a while now. I really appreciate your posts on struggling to juggle it all along with posts about your little ones. I may only have one little one at home right now but I can so relate. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and struggles through your blog!

I've been reading your blog for several months now, but I don't think I've ever commented, so I guess that makes me a lurker :-)! I truly enjoy reading blogs by women who are seeking to follow the Lord in their everyday lives, and I have really appreciated the honesty and commitment you have put into your blog! Please keep the posts coming!

I love seeing what you're learning--thanks for sharing with us!

Hope you had a wonderful, wonderful day!

Happy Birthday! I check in here every now and then but don't think I've commented. I, too, had 3 that were 3 and under, just a couple years ago, so I understand the challenge and blessing that is. And we are working on our frugal life, too, so I'm always up for new ideas. I probably found your blog via a Frugal Friday link-up.

Hi! I am a teen from California that has been reading your blog for a little over a year. I really enjoy reading your blog because of reality of your posts. I hope you continue to be blessed by God! Enjoy your 27th birthday!

Happy Birthday!

I'm subscribed to you in Bloglines and enjoy reading your posts. Thanks for taking the time to write about so many topics in biblical homemaking.

We live in Costa Rica right now as missionaries, and feel like we're also in a time of scarcity. :) Your tips help me remember that I'm not alone.

Happy belated birthday Lindsey! I love your posts about saving money, and about God's faithfulness. My husband will be starting his radiation treatments on Monday for his prostate cancer. We found out yesterday that he won't have to do chemotherapy, which will be a blessing. God is good! I'm so glad your husband is mending well. :)

Happy birthday, Lindsay!

I've been a lurker for quite a while now and I'm glad for the chance to introduce myself and say hi! :)

I can't remember how I came across your blog, but I keep coming back to read your posts because you are so honest and real about your life with three little ones. Having 3 little ones myself and expecting another, I understand the feeling that sometimes you just have to tell your stories or you will go nuts!!!

I also love all the frugal ideas that you share, such as the "frugal wedding gifts" post awhile back. Some people just have more creative ideas than others, and the rest of us just borrow them. :)

Thanks for writing!

Happy Birthday! I have been reading your blog for about 6 months, found it off of MSM. I enjoy your posts about frugal living, cooking, biblical womanhood, and your many creative ideas. I am 28, live outside of Chicago, and have 3 children.

I am a lurker also! I stop by every now and then and enjoy catching up on someone else who is busier than I am and yet gets is all together nicely.

I too feel old as I am 35 and only have one child and can barely get everything done in a day! I just started being a stay at home mom as I felt God really showing me this is where He wants me to be.

I enjoy your honesty whether it is good days or bad days and your biblical thoughts as they are usually what I have been thinking but just didn't say it!

Hope you had a great birthday!

Hey Lindsey,
I have read your blog since you started the blog. I love following your family and since I don't get a lot of time to e-mail, I feel I can stay connected to your family. Someday, we will meet up I am sure, but at least I can see how your family is doing and you give great tips on being a homemaker.

Your Suzie Homemaker,
Sherah
