Overwhelmed by the Goodness of God

Remember this post?

It's hard for me not to tear up every time I consider all of the family and friends who have been praying for us to get this house if it is God's will.  And last night, our realtor called with unbelievable news...
....news we never dared to hope we
would ever hear.
Today...
we're
under
contract
to
buy!!!

Congratulations on your good fortune, but is this really attributable to God? I mean really did God make the homeowners decide to accept your offer. Or was that their own free will. Hmm, what a concept. Could people get what they want in the absence of God? If every good thing is attributable the goodness of God, does it follow that every bad thing is attributable to the evil of God?
