It seems like for the last few months I've had numerous posts saying, "...here's why I haven't been blogging...." Just when I think life is going to slow down, it speeds up. We had a crazy busy April, May, and now June is busier than both of those combined. Things are moving along really well with our housing contract and we should close within the next few weeks and begin the enormous task of cleaning it and moving into it. Thankfully we have a lot of offers of help from our friends so we (hopefully) will survive it.
I'm in the midst of packing and trying to stay sane while taking care of the 3 kiddoes all the time. For the past few weeks as Josiah has been busy painting the new house (we had to do a TON of work on it to get the appraisal to pass) or helping out in the community sandbagging, due to a natural disaster that hit our area, I have felt like a single mom many days. I was worn to a frazzle and becoming the world's meanest mom so thankfully my hubby gave me a bit of a break this weekend and we went out to supper one night and I had a sewing night with a friend the other night.
Our current home is under slight threat by the flooding and we have spent a lot of extra time in the last week staying current on the community news, helping neighbors in trouble, etc. We will probably be fine though, even though we are very close to the river.
In the meantime I will not be blogging much in the coming month. As we move, try to enjoy the summer weather, settle in a new home, celebrate the 4th of July, etc. and as I continue to get bigger and bigger with child, it will be hard to squeeze in blogging time. But I assure you I will be back in full force when we are settled and will be posting occasionally as we have big news or cute pics to share (do I sense an ultrasound results post coming this week??????) I love blogging and I will be back!

It sounds like you've been doing exactly what your blog says you do--you've been faithful with homemaking, whatever that may entail right now. I'm glad you don't feel too too badly about being away from the blog. Your hands have been busy, and it is honoring to the Lord!
Happy Summer to you.
I was just thinking of you as I sat nursing my baby . . .
I have yet to move since I'm married and have children, and I just can't imagine it. But I know many others have done it and survived, so you will too! I'm glad you have help though! You'll sure need it! And what a relief it will be to be in and settled BEFORE #4 arrives!
I could so relate to the 'meanest Mom' phrase! I've been there myself quite a bit the last while! Have you ever tried taking Evening Primrose Oil? I just got back on it a few days ago, and it was like switching on the lights, suddenly I like my children again! :) It's a great hormone balancer!
Feel free to email me if you have any questions!
OK, I'm not finding your email on here, and I'm not so sure if I can reply to the comment you posted, and have it get to you . . . my computer filter is doing strange things to me right now!
So if you don't publish this comment, I guess I'd be grateful! :)

As for the EPO, with anything natural or herbal, there will be the naysayers who say not to use it, just to be on the safe side.
I have read others who say it has been shown to be safe, and I personally have used it at all stages of pregnancy with no problems. I have some other friends who have also used it without problems.
Of course, moderation is always important. I usually only need one oftgel per day to turn myself around. So I'm not talking about huge doses here! :)
The way I understand it, EPO is full of essential fatty acids, Omega fats, and other nutrients that your body uses to make hormones. It is not a 'hormone supplemant' as such, but helps your body to do what it is supposed to be doing.
I like NOW brand. There are other good brands too, but NOW is usually about the cheapest!
Feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
I haven't been able to find Katriel in the Bible either.
We still love the name, but do be prepared to have the standard response to hearing her name be, "What?" and "How do you spell it?" :)
I only know of one other Katriel, and we didn't know about her when we chose it. I loved the meaning, and I think it shouldn't be an unheard of name, it's so beautiful!
Take care!
