I plan phone dates with friends who live far away (and those are the friends with whom I could talk for hours and hours!), since talking during the day with my kids around is not good, for the reasons you've mentioned. I like knowing when I'll be talking to someone in the evening (which is not often), so I can plan to iron or do some other mindless work while I chat.Meredithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06252497401988130599noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6988275145038032119.post-35413641431124725402009-07-21T12:52:39.220-06:002009-07-21T12:52:39.220-06:00This is really good stuff, Lindsey and I enjoyed r...This is really good stuff, Lindsey and I enjoyed reading through it and being reminded of many important things. Also, I was wondering if you might want to add me to your list of people for "phone dates"? I'm also curious as to what category I fall into for your different types of friendships. :-) I don't want to be a burden and I know how it is to be too busy to talk on the phone (it's nearly impossible during the day!) but I've had so little time to write good e-mails lately that I thought it would be fun to chat once or twice a month after our munchkins are in bed.

I'm bummed that we're going to miss your picnic when you make your way over this way but maybe we can work something else out for getting together. I know Sam would enjoy some guitar and guy time with King Jo. :)

Hope you enjoy the rest of your week!Lesleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18262298341057231786noreply@blogger.com
